Obama Picks Sonia Sotomayor for SCJ

No big surprise here, folks. Not only is she off the chart liberal, but a minority and female. Neither of the last two factors mean in any way that she can't do a good job on the Supreme Court bench, but it does mean that anyone that dare to speak out against her other qualifications can not only be called a racist, but a sexist too.

I think she'll go through the nomination process quicker than corn through a goose.

According to Judge Sotomayor, if your state or city bans all guns the way Washington, D.C. did, that’s okay under the Constitution.

Here is just a touch of what this Nazi has to say about guns and the second amendment,,, She also feels the 2nd amendment does not guarentee rights of the individual to self defense,,, And to top it off if the Reverend Al Sharpton said her pick was good so you know its bad for the rest of us.

But not Judge Sonia Sotomayor. She is one of only three federal appellate judges in America to issue a court opinion saying that the Second Amendment does not apply to states.

We as gun owners do not need this woman in the Supreme Court,, she judges her feelings and not the law,, Be very concerned and aware here that this woman is BAD F*&^KIN NEWS!!!!!!!!

The far left hate machine is spinning up as we speak to blast anyone with the courage to take a stand against this nominee. As gun owners, we should be ready to call, write and email our representatives now to let them know that we are watching how they vote. She will without a doubt use the D.C. gun ban as a model for the rest of the country. This is going to get ugly.

Right now the NRA is litigating a case in Chicago against a gun ban there,,,If that case got to the SCOTUS and she was seated there is always the possibility that she could persuade a majority to agree and that would open the door to gun bans everywhere,, Very True we need to let our elected know we are against this womans nomination and fight it all the way,,, Hell the nut job from Chicago looked better than this dame !! I had to do some driving today and was listening to Rush, he said she is BAD real bad, she thinks her job is to write the law. He also said that she is very prejudice against white men, from what I 've heard on the news tonight I think Rush was right. I heard about a case up north involving some firemen that she ruled on, I don't remember the state, it didn't sound good.

I hope those conservatives in congress can develop some spine and stop this nomination, but I wouldn't bet on it.

I have no problem with a justice's ethnicity or gender IF they are willing to uphold our Constitution. This pick seems to think she needs to write her own laws and bring her own interpretation based on these attirbutes. Not good. She is also on record stating that the courts make policy. NOT SO. If SCOTUS begins to lean this direction we can say by bye to our rights.

"I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experience would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn't lived that life."

She is also a member of a group called the Nation Council of La Raza [The Race] that promotes rights for illegal immigrants (drivers licenses, amnesty, freedom from law enforcement actions, etc).

Please contact your representatives and ask that they carefully consider these facts and act accordingly during the confirmation hearings. Remember that SCOTUS justices are confirmed by the Senate so focus your comments accordingly.

I love the canned responses from Warner and Webb,, I am almost positive Warner is in the bag to Obama and Webb isn;t far behind,, SO much for their stand on the defending the Constitution and the 2nd amendment ,, I have a really bad feeling that we as gun owners are about to be thrown under the bus in the name of politics.. The Democrats seem to think its a slam dunk and the hearings are just a formallity,If this woman gets the nod it will be one of the most serious misjustices in the history of this country,,,We can only hope that some in the Senate will actually put politics aside and grill this woman to show her true colors and realize she isnt good for this country in any shape ,manner or form.

Unfortunately that is true,,, Obama only picked this woman for the political aspect if you ask me.. What better way to garner votes for the Democrats than a hispanic woman,,Any shots at her would be construed just that "racist".
