Va Beach CHP

Virginia Beach is either having a lull in CHP applications lately or has picked up their pace quite a bit. I dropped my application off July 8th fully expecting a 45 day wait and was very suprised to find the permit in the mailbox when I got home from work this evening on the 23rd !! Only a 15 day turn-around!

Maybe some tail dragging employees are afraid for their jobs with the economy the way it is and are actually doing the job efficiently instead of siting on their hands goofing off,, My last one took 45 days to the day,,,,That was at he end of last year so its good to hear they are picking up the pace,

The rate of applications has declined a lot this year, so the clerks and background checkers are probably finally getting caught up.
