Trexpo-East....anyone going or feedback from past years?

Anyone going to the Trexpo-East show/conference in Dulles the week of Aug. 17-20? I have wanted to go for the past few years but something has always come up. This year is looking good and that Friday, Aug. 20, is range day at the Silver Eagle Group range. Hands on shooting demo's.....I would be hard pressed to think of a better way to spend a Friday!

Anyone able to offer feedback on the show from prior years? It looks like it is only available to military/law enforcement but where there is a will, there is a way

I avoid these things like the plague. Reminds me of Amsterdam. Everybody tugging on your shirt trying to get you to buy something when all you want to do is look...

That would be great! I always get ignored at trade shows. I guess I look like a nobody with no money.

The problem if you talk to the vendors is they sometimes get your name and where you work...often from someone else. Then you get phone calls which if you ignore get elevated. And, certain people think that just because they can use a phone or e-mail to call a 3-star's office will. Then you get directed to call them, bring them in for a briefing, follow ups, etc, etc, etc. A complete time waster for the most part...

Oh, you will be so pleased...gee, and all I really wanted was breakfast at MacDonalds...I've been there once and it was plenty enough for me...definitely not for the uninitiated...
