Pictures from my garage

Post by Bob »

I don't know what most of you do with your turkey tails or beards, but I thought I'd show you all what I do. At first I started collecting tails, had them all over, it was too much. Then I collected beards, then I started collecting beards and spurs. I gave all the tails away except for a few, a lot of folks like them for decorations.

So here is what I ended up doing the last few years, see the picture below.

I thought the deer antlers around them where a nice touch. It doesn't cost a penny to dry them out and save them, the new ones are still drying, they will be ready in a week or two.

Lets see some pictures of what you all do with your game. I'm open for all ideas, just showing what I do.

This last one is from Pennsylvania, I hunt up there now and then, this was a good bird.

Thanks for all the good comments.

I'm retired and have some free time so I have to amuse myself some how. It keeps me off the streets.

Bob, at this point I'm just tired, But,hope to RE-TIRE next year around this time  I took this past week off and must admit, it's felt good...(real good). As a rule we are always planning a vacation inwhich includes travel(or hunting) but this year with the economy being what it is, we scaled back. This time around I had my youngest daughter finish college and gratuation was last Sat. To help celebrate we had our other daughter fly in from California so I took the week off. The family( all gals) has rolled over many mornings this week so I've found myself messing around in the garden or doing small projects that I've been putting off in the early mornings. So, guess I'm trying to say, while I've enjoyed spending time with the girls..... I have also enjoyed my time in the early morning, just me, my coffee and the cool morning air.
Enjoy the Journey
