We don't need Reid around. Look how much garbage he has pushed for Obama and said Screw the Voters and their opinions. His time is done ,,,Another 90 something old Byrd we don't need. Sharon Angle looks good to defeat him if her momentuum keeps and the Tea Party continues to push her forward.

We need to pray that the Republicans can retake the Senate in November.
Then it will not matter if Reid is reelected or not. He won't be in power anymore.

Personally I dont care who ends up in power. Thats not important. What is - is that they follow our Constitution. Both parties are severely lacking in that area AND secondly that they see their duties as servants to us citizens...

That IMHO is on the top of the list along with ,,Removing and ending all unecessary entitlements,PC of any kind, restructuring the tax code to favor job creation, Ending the PORK loaded earmarks habit , Protecting the borders on the Federal level ,and cutting all of the Good Ol Boy Bull that has stunk up Washington DC for far too many years,,,, MAybe a lot to ask but that is Tough Sh&& for those that choose to run for office need to do the work the people pay them for instead of worrying about their Stock Portfolio as in Pelosi's case

There is no going back...he never was. These politicians tells us what we want to hear, but do the opposite. How many times are we going to be fooled?
Bingo. Big +1 there. This is what we, the electorate, have to decide. Will we let ourselves be continually fooled by these people?

Zephyp and VBshooter also make a great point about it not really mattering who's in power. What matters is that those in power follow the Constitution and they remember that they serve us, not the other way around.

I was upset borderline SICK to learn the NRA "may" endorse him. So I contacted them, they sent a generic post (linked below) saying they have not supported ANY senate candidates (despite the public praise they are lavishing him with he will certainly use during the campaign), followed by a glowing report of Reids alledgedly recent pro-gunright votes.

Problem is they are totally compromising their stated position of being a 100% single issue lobbying group by ignoring (what the NRA calls) his MOST important votes, those for Sotomayor and support of Kagen!! That was very dishonest of the NRA. A lie by omission is still a lie.

http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/nra ... jority-lea

Even though in the past the NRA has made clear (from 3 links down): “There may be no vote a United States Senator casts that is more important than a vote to confirm a nominee to the U.S. Supreme Court.

They have stated they would lower ANY senators rating if they supported Sonia Sotomayor, and Reid did vote for her.

http://blog.taragana.com/n/nra-threaten ... rs-118702/

http://wcco.com/national/nra.sonia.soto ... 11119.html

The NRA has made its anti-Kagan stance public (Kagan once grouped NRA and Klan together while serving Clinton), but right now Reid supports her, and the NRA does not mention that fact either.

http://www.nraila.org/News/Read/NewsRel ... x?ID=13980

The NRA offices are getting swamped with calls and e-mails against this public praise and flirting with a Reid endorsement.

Glen Caroline from the NRAILA has issued a statement to its employees and members to issue the following to those questioning NRAs Praise of Harry Reid. It's a very slanted report and dishonest to its members because it fails to mention “the most important votes a senator can make” to protect the 2nd amendment, that of a supreme court nominee:

http://www.nraila.org/News/Read/InTheNews.aspx?ID=14003

The following is an excerpt from the link above on how the NRA stated to its members to support Reid, and this does NOT follow the pure virtue of supporting only pro-gunrights candidates:

“All of which leads to a very serious question for all NRA members and gun owners who oppose Sen. Reid to contemplate: who would take Reid’s place if he loses his race—and his critically important position as Senate Majority Leader? Remember, the Senate Majority Leader is the gatekeeper who decides which legislation will be considered on the Senate floor. If Sen. Reid loses, the next candidate for Majority Leader is very likely to be Chuck Schumer or Dick Durbin—two of the most anti-gun U.S. Senators in history! “

I have been a “Life Member” of the NRA and due to their compromises as of late I want out. I don’t like how they lied by omission (of Judicial votes) to their members at all. It’s completely dishonest.

I called the membership number 1-703-267-1000 and was basically laughed at when I asked for a refund of my Life Membership funds, apparently they have been down this path many times and its supposed in the documentation the membership fees are non-refundable.

How do you change the logo below from "Proud NRA member" to "Ashamed NRA Member"
