Have almost everything, everything but a scale... question

You probably didn't expect this question, but what is the dimension of the scale you are using? I've got just about everything I need to start reloading other than a reliable scale. I have an electronic one that I can't say I trust, it was a clearance item at Midway and I've gotten multiple readings with the check weight that was provided, so I was thinking of the RCBS 502 or even the Lee Magnetic Scale. I'm building my reloading bench/setup now and am putting an eye level scale and powder trickler shelf in, but don't know what dimension to make the shelf. Space is limited so I can't just make it across the entire back wall, so I was going to build a nice central shelf for just the scale and trickler.

If you could just generalize the size, I don't need it measured in 1/1000ths, I'll be making it a few inches bigger all around anyways to allow some fudge room, but not to much otherwise it will just become a shelf for more crap.

I happen to have an RCBS 10-10. It's about 9 inches long by 4 inches deep, and about 5 inches tall.

I've seen a Lee Safety Scale once before. It's a little smaller than that.

BTW, if you're weighing powder, the Lee Safety Scale is a fine choice. It goes up to 100 grains. Unless you're loading for the 416 or 460 Weatherbys, that's all the scale you need. The reason I went with the 10-10 is because I knew I'd be casting my own boolits, up to 310 grains. The RCBS 505 is also an excellent choice if you cast, and it's about the same size as the Lee Safety Scale.

I share the same opinion with CowboyT. Really depends if you'll only measure powder, or powder and lead.
