Online CHP Course for Virginia

Has anyone else seen or completed the online CHP training class yet?. There's a one hour video, followed by a twenty question test. I scored 100% on the test last night!

I'm going to take all of the paperwork, and the printed certificate, to the Circuit Court this week.

If you need to print out the CHP form, you can find it in the "Resources" section in the top left of the site or just visit Virginia CHP Information and click on the document PDF link.

congrats. i got a 95 oh well i can say though i did learn a little from that video. Now i'm just waiting on vsp to send it out. Was told that it was at a 2 to 2.5 month backup right now so i'll be goin to get my temp in oh lets see 1 month

thats the class i took real easy to follow along with too. and if for some reason you fail you can take it again for free. i think its like a 10 buck fee to take it a 3rd time but honestly if you fail it ooooo thats scary

Taking an online gun safety course is what's scary, imho.

so if you have a dd214 i dont need to take a online course?

No test required with your DD214 .This is from the State Police List of accepted documents.

5.Presenting evidence of equivalent experience with a firearm through participation in organized shooting competition or current military service or proof of an honorable discharge from any branch of the armed services;
