A MUST READ

I must say I really enjoy this site for some of the great insight that I get and good information. I also enjoy seeing everyones gun collection. Me being a gun lover as well as everyone on here, it kind of feels like home. Now I've only been a member for a couple of days and I spend most of my time just reading not really writing. But from some of the things I've seen I feel I have to come out with this... There are just so many bigots on this site & that makes it hard to fully enjoy the site the way I'd like to. All I really see is "homeboys", "thugs", "gangsters" and "those people". Some of these post are like come on give me a damn break.

Now I understand some of you have run across some shady characters and may not like how these individuals carry themselves but really whats the differences from any skinhead or punker? None of these individuals are "thugs" or "gangsters". They're misguided individuals just like so many people of all races in this world. I mean this is 2010 and you have people on here talking like we're back in the 50's and 60's, get over yourselves. The same way you may not like how one wears his pants that same person may not like your confederate flag or your hick talk, or your country music that in some cases pretty much say the same thing as some rap music just in a different manor. I've heard country and rock sound pretty similiar to a lot of rap songs.

You want to see a real thug go see George Bush and Dick Chenney. Now those are thugs and hoodlums, they single handedly destroyed and robbed this country. Those are real gangsters. Ronald Reagan was a thug, Al Queda are thugs, KKK are thugs, Black Panthers are thugs. All I'm saying is it would be nice to come on this site and be able to enjoy it to its fullest extent without thinking "geesh there are so many lame ignorant people on here". Now understand everyone has the right to their opinion and feelings but so do I so I figured why the heck not express them like everyone else. I didn't post this to have a war of words with anyone because regardless of whether or not I like or dislike what I read I dont know anyone on here so not one person really matters at the end of the day. I'll sleep the same and life will go on. Again I just figured I'd post my 0.02 cents like everyone else.

MJB927, What I'm reading is that any of us who doesn't fall into lockstep with your view of a "correct" political affiliation and beliefs--that is to say, your personal world view is a worthless oppressor and thief.

Given that, I'd think you'd be much happier among those who think as you rather than trying to make converts of an unruly, unwashed, unthinking band of knuckle draggers.

I said "all I see" meaning all I see written. Again this wasn't put for a war of words. I don't care to really argue over the internet. Anyone can feel free to speak their minds about this post, I'd figured it would get some negative attention. But this is my last post on this topic. If anyone takes offense to this post oh well wonk wonk. Just like it's pretty much oh well for anything I may run across that I dont like.
