Hello from Va Beach, VA

Post by carlo01 »

Hello everyone,

Just want to introduce myself to the forum. I currently own a couple of Glocks and a Remington 597 that my 12 year old son and I shoot at the range! I have a membership to the Lynnhaven shooting range (A&P) and I'm there most weekends and I'm also awaiting my CCW/CHP to arrive in the mail. Have a safe day!

The Lynnhaven shooting range is awesome I read mixed reviews prior to becoming a member but as long as you follow the rules they let you go about your business plus its a 3 minute drive from the house so its convenient for me. Havent tried Bob's I go to Camp Allen in Norfolk from time to time they have a nice setup just wished they were closer. Thanks to all for welcoming me to the forum!

Yea I've read some mixed reviews about them as well, but for the most part I've never had an issue. I like it because it's close to my house and they have a lot of lanes. I've never had to wait for a lane, which is nice.

I've never been to Camp Allen....are regular civilians allowed or is it military only?

Thats the best part they always have an open lane even when they are busy! I've also had nothing but awesome customer service even on the weekends when they get crowded. Sorry I think Camp Allen is only DOD since its inside the Marine base. Have fun shooting!
