1. VCDL meeting in Annandale (NoVA) on March 18th - more info

VCDL will have its monthly membership meeting at the Mason Government
Center in Annandale on Thursday, March 18th.

*** If you would like to order a VCDL shirt, send an email to Bruce
Jackson at

bruce@vcdl.org

and he will bring the shirt to the restaurant after the meeting for
distribution. He is only bringing the shirts that he gets an email
for ***

The meeting is open to the public, so bring friends, family and
coworkers! The meeting starts at 8 PM. Fellowship begins at 7:30 PM.

Afterwards we will adjourn and head to a local restaurant for
continued fellowship. Open carry at the restaurant will be required
for those choosing to carry, as the restaurant serves alcohol.
(Starting on July 1, assuming the Governor signs SB 334, it will be up
to you as to how you wish to carry at the restaurant!)

2. VCDL meeting in Glen Allen on March 24th

VCDL will have a membership meeting Wednesday, March 24th at:

The meeting will be called to order at 7 PM, but fellowship will begin
at 6:30 PM.

As with all VCDL membership meetings, it is open to the public, so
bring friends, family and coworkers.

Afterwards we will adjourn to a local restaurant for continued
fellowship.

3. VCDL meeting in Midlothian on April 1
**************************************************

VCDL will have a membership meeting Thursday, April 1st at:

Uno Chicago Grill
13933 Hull Street Road
Midlothian, VA 23112

The meeting will be called to order at 7:30 PM, but fellowship will
begin at 7 PM.

You can order appetizers or meals during the meeting if you wish.

Following the meeting, those who would like to have dinner and continue
their fellowship will simply stay at the restaurant.

NOTE: This is a very gun-owner friendly restaurant, which has
specifically welcomed us to have our meeting there - so let's have a
good turnout to thank them for their hospitality. They have excellent
food, too.

Those who wish to carry will have to do so openly as they do serve
alcohol on premise.

As with all of our membership meetings, it is open to the public, so
bring family, friends, and coworkers.

4. Virginia Tech Board of Visitors looking to ban ammunition storage
in dorms on March 22nd
**************************************************

I just got an email that Virginia Tech is now planning to ban
ammunition storage in dorms. More and more, these policies sound like
they were meant for a university in New Jersey, not Virginia.

Ammunition storage ban? Ammunition is not dangerous to store, except
in the minds of those who hate guns and know nothing of them.

I would love to see the current university administration replaced
with those who understand freedom and liberty.

I would suggest contacting the university administration to oppose
this policy change.

The Virginia Citizens Defense League thanks the following
