Help a paralyzed LEO & his new bride - it costs you nuttin'!

Post by KaosDad »

On May 27, 2009 Chicago Police Officer Densey Cole was responding to an emergency call for service when his squad car was hit head on by another vehicle. While Officer Cole was unconscious, the "good" citizens in the area he protected decided this was an opportune time to rob him. By improperly moving him to steal his gun, star, and wallet, they caused him to become paralyzed.

Officer Cole, who was engaged at the time, was in a coma for four weeks. When he finally awoke, he and his fiance were married in the hospital. He was treated at a rehab center in Denver for several months and is now back home where he is making slow but steady progress. Because of his injuries and mounting expenses, he and his wife were unable to have a proper wedding and honeymoon.

Now along comes Crate and Barrel who are having "The Ultimate Wedding Contest". The winner will receive a fully planned wedding and honeymoon valued up to $100,000. Densey's wife Mary registered in this contest and as I write this they are currently in 2nd.

Please help Densey and Mary by giving them a vote using the link below. You will have to register but it takes only a few seconds.

Vote on this "Chicago Style"!!!!

I must be bored.

Here's the current leaders:

I couldn't give a rat's patoot if those two fabulously well dressed guys want to get married but I think the cop and his wife deserve to win more. Someone should post the original link to a LEO forum.

News Article:
"Some kid from the gas station across the street ran across," Cole said. "Pushed me over and stole my gun. My wallet. Then kinda stayed in the vehicle and told me, you can't move. I'm gonna shoot you. I'm gonna kill you."

I think that kind of animal behavior would even piss off the Dalai Lama.

Please dont do that. I'd like to meet you one day and would prefer it not be where I'm looking down at you while soft music plays in the background and women sob softly...

Have not been on the site in awhile, this was the first thing I seen when I popped up here. I put in my vote.

Only wish they would do to that teenager what he did to that leo. It's realy sad what these people will do to others...

If by some chance Densey sees this, I wish you the best of luck.

I know, I was just jabbing you...seriously though its a shame that this president doesn't get involved in a cause like this, you know, a PRO American cause.
