Reasons to join the NRA
Reasons to join the NRA
What would be the top five real reasons to join NRA in your opinion. Also, what are the five best perks?
Looking for reasons to encourage friends to join up. Want to be sure I am not missing anything.
I just stumbled onto this thread this morning. If it is true I wish I would have found it sooner.

Meeting a lot of great people at shooting matches.
A fast source of information on just about anything in the firearms field.
Training for people for all types of weapons.
For me getting all of the above and what Pro Shooter said with the right to shoot in Police NRA 1500 Revolver matches and High Power Rifle matches for over 30 year's,
Bill

Re: Reasons to join the NRA
Really the top reason and only reason for some is supporting the largest pro gun lobby in the world.
Another big reason is you have the ability (if you pay the dues) to upgrade your membership to a level where you can actually participate and have a voice in NRA dealings.

The card has a really sweet eagle on it! And you know the whole preservation of liberty thing... Also provides a great deal of information about legislative/legal action around the country. Dues help support the NRA-ILA, a legal powerhouse defending the 2nd Amendment, and thats an expensive business.
