I can attest that there IS that danger. I lost 3 rounds of good quality Remington ammo due to this practice each day, because I cleared and reloaded each morning. The top cartridge in the mag eventually got dented and the bullet FELL OUT and spewed smokeless powder all over my bed/car/closet.fordhook2000 wrote:And there's no danger of "crimping" a cartridge in a way that could cause it to misfeed or anything?
I manned up and started carrying Condition One and now I don't have to clear/reload each day.
I would say, examine your practices and WHY you do them to eliminate as many of these loading operations as you can. If you carry in Condition One, why are you reloading?
