Antique & Modern Firearms Repair

If you got a good deal or great service from a shop or range and you want to brag about them, here's the place to do it. Likewise, if you are unhappy about someone's service or feel like you've been ripped off, we want to know that too!

Antique & Modern Firearms Repair

This little shop on Providence Rd. in Virginia Beach is a great find. Bob is a friendly, honest and reasonable gunsmith. I would recommend him to anyone living in the area.

The phone is now disconnected. Has anyone been by there lately?

I was hoping he would be able to install a scope mount for me.

Stopped by there a couple weeks ago and he's still in business and going strong. The phone being disconnected is apparently due to a billing conflict with his provider. They apparently decided to arbitrarily change his billing rate and add a couple of items to his bill that he didn't agree with the need for, so he told 'em to pack sand and canceled his services through them.

Got Bob to install sights on my HK P30 today. I went to The Armory yesterday, but they weren't able to help me. They directed me to Bob, and I went right when he opened at noon (hours posted as 12-5:30)Charged $35. He did a top notch job, and I can't wait to try them out.

He does have a new phone number posted on the door, but I forgot to write it down.
