Class III Dealer?

If you got a good deal or great service from a shop or range and you want to brag about them, here's the place to do it. Likewise, if you are unhappy about someone's service or feel like you've been ripped off, we want to know that too!

Class III Dealer?

Post by vetsvette »

I'm looking for a good class III dealer to buy a suppressor through. I live in south central VA and would like to find one fairly close by. I don't mind driving 60 miles if I have to.

I know a few out here (eastern Va) that are very good, sorry. I am curious though, what type of weapon are you trying to quiet? ( I assume that you meant silencer, not surpressor)

I have to admit they seem to have a nice product there, but ....with the current administration in charge of firearm future in america, I don't think its worth the hassle myself. Good luck with it though, if you decide it is.

Ashby Arms in Harrisonburg is in the process of getting their Class III license. I am not sure how long it will be before they have it.
You just have to ask yourself, is he telling you the truth based on knowledge and experience or spreading internet myths?

Here is a listing of NFA dealers in the US, scroll down for VA. It's not exhaustive, but there's at least one south central dealer on there. Be careful, they messed up the alignment between dealer and location (dealer and phone number are still lined up right).

Thanks guys. I'll check the list, but last time I checked I couldn't find any close by. I'll check it again and the Roanoke dealer. Thanks for the replies.
