oh... might point out a few other things.
I am terribly prone to speak my mind.
I had an ancestor that went through Georgia with Uncle Billy.
Most of my other maternal ancestors were conductors on the Underground Railroad.
I dabble in trading hard silver. Mostly rounds.

Well, you know, a forum IS a place in which to speak your mind, lol.
I have an ancestor that lost his leg to a Yankee cannon ball, on Malvern Hill. He survived, and lived into a notoriously stubborn old age.
Had another ancestor that was a Medic during the War of Lincoln's Tyrannical Hubris; the family never spoke of him, much, other than to say, "He was a good man; treated men from both sides." When his sword was passed along to my father, he was shocked to find Union engravings. But, then he understood the mystery,lol.
I'm likely to dabble in nearly anything. Leather, watches, and lapidary currently have my attention.
