I haven't searched to see who won the Sheriffs spot but I didnt vote for him.
And I guess you've brought up a good point that I guess everyone would have to be on board for it to be worthwhile to the county. If the local Sheriff goes against the BOS then it may not be as beneficial as it seems.
Still, it's nice knowing that a majority of locals/constituents feels the same way I do.

VCDL e-mail this morning says Nottoway Country voted for it last night.
I sent e-mails to the Chesterfield County supervisors yesterday morning. No response, so far.
The VCDL has been informed of meetings to take place in multiple counties but were not given the locations/times of those meetings. They're asking for people in counties still on the fence to e-mail them with the location and time of the meetings in those counties.
Hopefully no one will be upset if I copy/paste that e-mail here for people to use the info.

I was at the Rockbridge County meeting tonight.
The meeting only had residents speak. There was no vote tonight, or questions answered by the Board of Supervisors.
The next meeting December 9th is @ Rockbridge County High School 5:30 pm. A vote will take place at this meeting.
So many people showed up to the County offices that, the meeting got moved to the Middle school gymnasium. Every seat in the gym was full, & close to 100 of us standing.
While a few anti-gunner libs did get up & speak... the crowd, & speakers were overwhelmingly supportive of sanctuary status for the county, & most demanded the Board of Supervisors approve such status for our County.

Last I saw somewhere between 30 and 40 counties in the state will be voting on this in the next couple weeks.
I predict things are going to get interesting in VA.

I just sent off my email to all the members of the Albemarle Board of Supervisors.
Among other things, I reminded them of their oath of office.
Code of Virginia
§ 49-1. Form of general oath required of officers.

We're up to 43 counties and theres about double many more that will be voting soon and more than likely come on board.
Geographically you're going to end up with like 90% of the state pro 2A.

Proud to report Rockbridge County passed the resolution to become a 2A Sanctuary county last night.
The meeting was nearly 3 hours. It lasted so long because of the high number of residents that spoke. It was very encouraging to see so many friends, neighbors, patriots, & fellow citizens in attendance. The meeting was held at the local High School. The auditorium was completely full, & hundreds of people outside where, they live streamed the meeting, & pumped the audio over the intercom.
The attendees were not your "normal" political activists/attendees. The crowd was working class people. The type of people that are usually at work, or tending to their families vs. attending political events. They are definitely awake now. Guarantee they will be watching what happens next. I look for a HUGE turnout in November.
I hope to attend the VCDL lobby day in Richmond 1-20. I sincerely hope that the newly elected general assembly doesn't ignore all of us, & do what they want anyways. A powder keg is brewing. I talked to many people last night. Looking into their eyes, & the passion coming from them, they (GA) would be foolish to ignore us all. A very significant portion of our population will NOT back down, & willl NOT live on their knees....

Well our Floyd County supervisors here in VA just unanimously passed a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary resolution last night! These Supervisor meetings normally draw just a handful of people. This one filled a 600 seat auditorium with more standing! I understand the Wythe County meeting drew some 1,100 people! We are now up to 77 counties and municipalities in VA that have passed such a resolution. Up yours governor Northam!

Sadly, Chesterfield County BoS refused to vote on it. Four rinos, one dim/lib/prog/socialist and the rinos went belly up.
Hopefully it'll come up again next month.
