The Marine Corp's was a Department of the Navy. The MEN'S DEPARTMENT.

Sure, but not to our face's. Not too many people will say that to my oldest son Bill Jr. at 6'5" and 300 lbs. and 6 years in the Marine's. Or my youngest son Jimmy who is still in as a Staff Sergeant and 6'4 and 230 lb. Yep I am the smallest at 6' and 210 lbs. Old saying Not as lean not as mean but still a Marine.

The way I look at it we all did our part no matter what branch we were in and a hell of a lot of people in this country did not.

P.S. in 1967 I already had 4 years in and was ducking slugs in a tropical paridise called Viet Nam! :roll: :roll:

I'm glad to see regular citizens stepping forward at town hall meetings, protests, etc. These folks may have never served in uniform but most are patriots none the less.
No more catchy slogans for me...I am simply fed up...4...four...4...2+2...
