NJ Resident waiting for opening in VA office

Post by AlexTheSane »

Hello Everyone!

I'm an IT guy who currently lives in NJ. Since I started working for my company I've been waiting for an opening in the Richmond office.

It's hard being a law abiding gun owner in a state that hates law abiding gun owners.

Figured I'd join this forum now and become part of the community before I move down.

Welcome, I also recently escaped from the commie northeast that is mASSholechusetts and haven't regretted it yet, even though we had to move without me having a job here first.

:welcome: :welcome: :welcome: I have a friend that lives in Bayonne , will retire in '18.....Already has plans to move to Southern VA. He has a fine collection of Surplus Military Rifles and a few handguns and can't wait to be able to shoot more. The only good thing as to where he lives NOW , is he is in walking distance to Henry Repeating Arms !

Hope you can make the move! We moved here a little over a month ago from Commiefornia, and it feels so good to be FREE! Free from gasoline that costs a dollar more a gallon, free from high insurance rates (mine went down 60%!), free from plastic bag and plastic bottle taxes, free from high water bills, free from only one handgun a month purchase (off a dwindling roster), free from 10 day waits, free from registering firearms, and ... You get the picture. Ir's great to live in a FREE state! But...stay vigilant my fellow Virginians, do everything you can to keep the liberals out of any office, be it school board on up! I hope I am preaching to the choir here, but in commiefornia, everyone thinks someone else will do it and the liberal scumbags have taken over.

So the time has come. The wife and I have found a home and put in an offer. Hopefully we'll be down there before the start of the next school year.

We've decided on the Swift Creek Reservoir area. Any suggested ranges (or any to stay away from) and shops/FFLs?
