Lego rifle

Post by wittmeba »

When I first read the title I thought -- another poptart story...NOT! This kid will be punished but this is pretty cool. He should not have pointed it at anyone.

I don't think the kid should be punished. Kids have been shooting each other with Nerf and AirSoft rifles and handguns for 2 decades and no one has died. I'm pretty sure the legos are going to hurt anyone.

Honestly, I'm sick of how overly sensitive people have become and how every response is wildly over the top.

10 years ago, the teacher would have just taken the legos away until class/school was over because of them being a distraction, not because little imaginary Lego bullets are going to kill anyone.

Yeah...then you could carry it almost anywhere and people would just say, "There goes that kid with the toy". :hysterical:

Making the LEGO rifle was smart....pointing it, was not.

Heh. I have a .22 revolver that has been mistaken for a .45. I generally offer no correction, either. Sometimes, it's best to let folks think that you have more firepower than you actually do. Security, and whatnot.
