FPF training has decent reviews and after the incident at Hooters I thought maybe I needed it.

Coming up on the 5th so I will let you guys know how they run their operation and if I liked it. If you have any questions you want me to ask them in person please write them here and I will try to accommodate.

I did the training course today. It was excellent. John Murphy knows his stuff and is an excellent teacher.
I highly recommend the Foundation for Concealed Carry. Its good.

Good to hear. I'm trying to loos some weight so I can be a bit more mobile. Once I drop a few pounds, I was thinking about a "fighting rifle" class. It's been more than 6 years since I did my last one and about 4 years since I had any formal training at all.

My buddy has been trying to get me to go to some outdoor matches too. From what he is saying, its a good method to retain and improve your skills.

Anyway, glad to hear some positive reviews. Hope you had fun and took something useful away from the class.

Glad to hear about good training.

I already had my CWP but was offered by the instructor that if I didn't think it was worth it he would not charge me. I went -- I also paid the cost as it was well worth it.

I was trying to get about 5 people into this class (self included) but they did not want to spend 7 hours in class so they went elsewhere. Big mistake. Rob Tackett really knows his stuff too. I believe (needs verification) Rob trains law enforcement and security. A very well spent 7 hours and you can't beat the price.

I learned about this class from another forum member but I don't recall which forum -- sorry.

BUMP!

Since the concealed class back in May I have had two more with FPF.

One was a vehicle course. We murdered a Geo.

And last weekend I did an advanced course with guest instructor Darryl Bolke, who is apparently world famous. I learned a lot about 1st Responder stuff. It was worth the time and money.
