Tim Kaine hosted a discussion on local and national gun violence. Please post and share your comments to this article. Chris Hurst's fiancee, Alison Parker and cameraman, Adam Ward were shot/killed at Smith Mountain Lake 2015. Chris and Alison worked together at WDBJ TV News.

It's sad we have the two libs here in the Senate. In many ways, we are in the same situation as CA, one or two areas are controlling the entire state. If you look at the election map of the state for 2016, it's blue in NOVA, Norfolk, Richmond, Blacksburg, Charllotesville. The last two are college towns, the main problems are NOVA and SE.

Yep. That's why the electoral college was created... but with district rigging and maps being re-drawn over and over til the best possible outcome for dems keeps happening, we will never have true representation.

Low voter turnout doesn't help either.

What bugs me is the liberal presence in tidewater.i cant believe the military complex being liberal

Somehow I don't believe it's the military complex. More likely the local civilians.
