What calculator did you use?

I didn't use any online calculator. I use the actual IRS tax documents, filing guidance. It's been published on the IRS website already.

I'll be interested to see what happens to my situation. I am a small (one-man) business and am hopeful it will help me. I'll know once I hear from my accountant.

I'm 1099, so I would think we are very close to the same situation.

I'm glad to hear that a real difference is being seen. That's contrary to what Christine Pelosi told Andrew Wilkow, last week. Not that I expected Nancys daughter to be right...

I'm going to maintain my low expectations, for my personal taxes, though. That way, I shouldn't be disappointed, and may be pleasantly surprised.

Either way, I'm happy for anyone who gets to keep more of their money, whether I'm in that bunch, or not.

LoL the Pelosi name is tarnished for the next 10 generations...

It's hard to be optimistic after Bush being weak on conservative values and Obama trying to make the US a 3rd world country. I hope this works out for everyone.

Don't mean to be contrary Marc, but ALL politicians suck. I suppose you could find an exception or two, but you'd have to look very hard. I had high hopes for Paul Ryan, but then Boehner got hold of him.

Ben Sasse's new book is being passed around the family at present. I haven't gotten my shot at it yet, but everyone says it's very good. He may be an exception. And I'd probably say that Rand Paul is an exception.

I'll be glad to see Goodlatte go. All of us out here in the mountains need to start looking closely at a field of Republicans that numbers about six right now. Hopefully there will be one who stands out above the rest.
