Awww, not this crap again!

Post by Reverenddel »

You know? I'm not a "tinfoil" kinda guy... but it seems odd that every time we start getting GOOD pro-gun legislation that will make it into law something we've been pulling to get for decades...

Some knucklefart decides to open fire on a crowd. (sigh)

And then we're pushed back to the "defensive" role again.

Isn't that the damn truth, I was strangely thinking the same thing. With the looming potential of the Hearing Protection Act, and maybe national reciprocity, I guess we will have to fight on for yet another while. Hell if Congress would just work instead of punting everything down the road another few months, those might have already been completed. Also quite strange as this is the first time I have seen one of these look at me the bad guy shooting up a bunch of people use an automatic weapon. WTF? We all know these copy cats do this for their 15 minutes of fame and for the media to just keep ranting their names over and over. Sickens me.

With the offender using a full auto weapon, this seems more like a terrorist attack, rather than a "mass shooting".

A guy described as "not into guns" have a closet full of weapons, including auto?
Shooting from 2 different windows? A woman warning spectators 45 minutes before that they're all going to die? ISIS warning showing Las Vegas in a video?
I'm going to buy more tinfoil.

Is that floor 32, where police says the guy was? Or much lower?

This guy was on a mission....it seems a very well planed mission. I imagine we will learn many things in the near future about this nut case.

The thing I'm most surprised with at this point, is the lack of information about all aspects of this event.

No leaked lobby video, no snippits from his faecbook, no interviews with fellow gamblers, no personal cell phone video from the lobby of him moving a suitcase, minimal interviews from friends/family, nearly no firearms data... almost nothing.

Now, I'm asking: is it so farfetched to think that the guy was already dead at the moment of the shooting, and left there as patsy? Or I've seen too many movies?

The whole thing is strange.

While I, of course, keep my tinfoil hat firmly upon my head, at all times, I'm trying to keep my speculation to a minimum, until more information is available.

It's particularly disgusting, though, the number of lefty grave dancers, frolicking over this event, with malignant glee. It was expected, but still disgusting.

I agree, but there is something very wrong when "The Other Side" lives up to expectations EVERY TIME.

I think that the "Other Side" may actually be EXCEEDING expectations, at this point. They've been at it, all year.

I'm actually OK with that, incidentally. Their disgusting displays, should they keep it up, and keep up with the pattern of getting progressively worse, will only serve to allow us to take our country back. If these tragedies have any silver lining, at all, that's where it is.

******************

I know that I said that I wasn't going to speculate, yet, but something occurred to me while I was driving.

This guy, Paddock (however his name is spelled; don't respect him, so I won't double check) had a good career. He managed to aquire wealth, a couple of planes, a few houses, etc. But, still, he was nobody, as recently as Sunday morning. He wasn't known. His daddy, on the other hand, was a notorious bank robber.

Perhaps, in his mind, his daddy was up there with Bonnie and Clyde, Jesse James, and the other famous outlaws. Yet, he, himself, was unknown on Sunday morning. Monday morning, though, suddenly the whole world knows his name. He has become notorious. His name is in the history books. And, now, he's better known than his daddy.

If we take it all at face value, perhaps that was his motivation. Or, if we allow for some conspiracy theory, perhaps that's how he was talked into participating in the conspiracy.

Not that his motivation is of any importance, outside of my own interest psychology. If I'm right, that just means that this guy was a pathetic wretch. If I'm wrong, well, he's still a pathetic wretch.

You know why? Because he fits the profile of a left wing net like the one that attacked Scalise at the softball field. If it had been for any other reason it would have been all over the news by now.

Why police tells us he checked in on 28, when he was already there on 27? Why all the lies and cover-up?
