They've got a smaller horizontal ring in the head part of the target. Usually it's lighter than the area around it and may have two smaller rings/bulls eyes in that oval horizontal "ring".

How long before we see that kind of image in our own neighborhood?

Will you hope the locked front door and closed blinds keeps them out of your house/off your family?

Guaranteed to stop them if you put the right bullet in that area. Just like the zombie movies.
