As I read it, the suppressor reduces the speed of the bullet, reducing the sonic report.
Expanding gas cycles the semi-auto.
Stand Your Ground and Castle Doctrine are synonymous.
30.06 is overkill for deer within 100 yards?
A .45 is more likely to cause damage on the other side of a wall because it is more powerful than smaller calibers.

Is that about right?

I always wanted to be in a session when Bloomberg is doing his usual inaccurate pitch and point out that he was not even born (or a twinkle in his fathers eye) when the NFA act (1934) was put in place -- basically removing fully automatic weapons from our streets. They watch too much Rambo, Terminator, Fast & Furious and cartel involved movies...but they are entertaining.
A Concealed Weapon Permit is nothing more than a permit to allow a LAC to wear a jacket.
