Wonder when people will finally learn that tannerite inside of shrapnel-producing objects is a bad idea?

One of these days, the masses will be deemed too stupid for tannerite, and it will become illegal. And, that will be a shame.

Must had been a bunch of tannerite to do this as in other parts of the country they do put some in car shoots.

I guess you could call that "self inflicted injuries". Explosions are neat when viewed from an appropriate distance. Containing the explosion increases that distance exponentially. There is a reason that the true explosions seen on TV are "filmed" by unmanned cameras.
