Do they benefit from making someone look better to themselves? The general public already has their opinions and for someone to cook the poll results would not change my opinion in the least. I'm not voting the the leader or loser. Do you think some will change their vote to not be on a losing team? or...the other one is going to win anyway so I'll vote for the loser?
I can certainly see reasoning behind BO and HRC tweaking their gun control supporting numbers but not the polls.

There is a great teaching from the father of sovietic socialism:
"The people who cast the votes don't decide an election, the people who count the votes do."
We should ask for paper votes this year. It's waaay too easy to rig the machines.

People, in general, like a winner. And, Democrats are naturally predisposed to just kinda follow the crowd. The media serves as the propaganda wing of the modern Democrat party.
This behavior isn't shocking. It's been going on for years. After 2 terms of Barry Soetoro, the Left has gotten particularly bold. The success of the Sanders campaign, combined with the failure of our legal system to enforce laws against Hillary, has emboldened Hillary to the point that she doesn't even try to hide her corruption anymore. The media outlets, in turn, feel further embolded to be a little more blatant.
Add the success of the Trump campaign, and the GOP's disdain for him, and the propaganda wing is just freaking out.
A lot of folks, who have gotten far too comfortable, are feeling threatened.

Seems more obvious in this Presidential election, but the polls have been biased against Republican candidates since before I was old enough to vote. That was so long ago that I had to wait until age 21 to finally be able to vote.
They are really just adjusting the results to account for the votes they expect Hillary's Klintonistas to steal or invent.

21 is a reasonable age to qualify to vote.OleMan wrote:Seems more obvious in this Presidential election, but the polls have been biased against Republican candidates since before I was old enough to vote. That was so long ago that I had to wait until age 21 to finally be able to vote.

I'd prefer the voter qualifications required in the society described in "Starship Troopers".

In no time at all there would be family members of the deceased Citizens claiming that loss as a qualifier.AlanM wrote:I'd prefer the voter qualifications required in the society described in "Starship Troopers".
