Be careful with that holster, it’s had a lot of reports of people after pushing the pistol release button, then having their index finger sliding onto the trigger and the gun going off.
Saw one video from the Sportsman’s Channel with Patrick Sweeney who’s been reviewing guns and ammo for years and even with his history with guns; he even let his finger slip onto the trigger. Google it and check it out. Be careful.

I've been testing a Safariland which has the retention lever activated by the middle finger during the draw. I like it right much.

Re: Serpa holster Warning
Over the years there have been several negligent/accidental discharges with these holsters.
Some training outfits have "outlawed" the use of these holsters at their classes.
Some guns only have a "safety" in the trigger. You know which models these are. Okay (I guess) as long as nothing touches the trigger. Problem is, with this type of holster, your trigger finger is also used to press towards the gun to release the gun from the holster and can slip into the trigger guard as your hand pulls the pistol from the holster.
In a stressful situation you are not always under the same time constraints and control as you may be out on the range plinking/practicing.
Yes, I like my handguns with thumb safeties, too.

There are many things that are reasonably safe on their own, but become markedly less safe when combined with other things.
I think a trigger paddle safety firearm + serpa style holster are one of those less-safe combos.

One of those speaking against the holster is a competitive shooter. Using a 1911, despite hearing the safety accidentally removed, went ahead with a timed draw and shot his leg. Less safe...yeah, seems to me that is a bad combo.

OBTW, some of those extended/ambidextrous safeties for 1911 appear less safe also. Nice that they are easily disengaged, bad that they are more easily inadvertently disengaged, especially with holsters that don't adequately protect both levers.
