I don't believe that truck rolled off. If it did, please explain tree under front of truck, which would be the uphill side of the truck. I don't know about big rig Allison automatic transmission controls, but on a M923 it would be possible for a big dog or a gunner's foot to kick the transmission into gear and the truck take off, especially on close to level ground.SHMIV wrote:Even with an automatic, you still have to release the air brakes. That's two valves to push in; one for the tractor, one for the trailer. And, those buttons are a bit tough to push in by accident.
My guess is that whoever owns that truck had to pee really bad, and forgot to set the brakes. Most dogs hop into the drivers seat when their master exits the truck, so that's what this dog did. Then the truck started rolling off, giving the impression that the dog popped it into gear, and rolled out.
If that dog figured out how to release the air brakes and put the truck in gear, he's a down right clever puppy.
