During a town hall event with Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump Wednesday evening, MSNBC anchor Mika Brzezinski caught the billionaire in the middle of a trick question, and it got a little awkward.

Brzezinski told Trump that she was going to describe a candidate, and then she wanted him to tell her who she was describing.

“The candidate is considered a political outsider by all the pundits. He’s tapping into the anger of the voters, delivers a populist message. He believes everyone in the country should have healthcare, he advocates for hedge fund managers to pay higher taxes, he’s drawing thousands of people at his rallies, and bringing in a lot of new voters to the political process. And he’s not beholden to any super PAC. Who am I describing?” Brzezinski asked.

Without missing a beat, Trump added that he is not beholden to any special interests or donors, before confidently asserting, “You’re describing Donald Trump.”

There was only one problem: she wasn’t. Instead, Brzezinski told the billionaire businessman that she was describing Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, a self-avowed Democratic socialist.

“Actually, I was describing Bernie Sanders,” the MSNBC host said with a smirk, as the audience began to awkwardly laugh.

The narcissistic azzhat, it was pretty obvious who she was describing. I don't usually like her, but in this case I could kiss her right on the lips!

If Trump somehow gets the nomination I don't see how he'll win the general election.

Of course when I look at the rest of the remaining candidates I can probably say the same thing. Oh it's going to be a long 8 years. I say 8 years because I doubt the RNC will have learned anything in time for 2020.

That's easy. One reaches into your wallet with their left hand. The other reaches into your wallet with their right hand.

The difference between Sanders and Trump...

Bernie Sanders is a complete failure. He was unable to produce anything in the private sector. Contrast that with Donald Trump; Trump has created a commercial real estate empire. In so doing, he has created employment opportunity and income for real estate agents, insurance agents, contractors, construction workers in various fields, maintenance people, janitorial people, gaming people, and folks in other assorted fields.

Donald Trump has contributed to society in positive ways, and Bernie Sanders has collected paychecks from government accounts to push harmful socialist agendas.

Trump has a great interest in the success of the American economy. Trump needs wealthy Americans. His success in his business ventures depends on people having disposable income; he deals in excess, not needs. When people start trimming the excess from their bugdet, Trump suffers.

Sanders, on the other hand, just has to convince lazy, ignorant, malcontented college hippies that the world is unjust and that government is the answer, which is not all that hard, considering that schools teach the zame thing, k-12 and then into college.

So, that's one difference betwee the two.

Probably that Trump is less sincere and a much better marketer.

I don't understand how Trump is being allowed to run for the Republican candidate. He is a Democrat. He has Dem ideas. He donates to both parties because his business requires ties on both sides, but have contributed an estimated 29x more money to Dems than any other party. He was even planing a run as the Dem nominee against Obama for the 2008 elections, but after the Obama Birther accusations, the Dem party wouldn't let him run. Somehow everyone seems to forget this stuff.

Regardless of who gets the nomination for the actual Democrat party, two Democrats will be running for POTUS if Trump gets the nod. Trump is a world class salesmen pitching an empty bill of goods... and America seems to be buying it.

Historically speaking, if Trump gets the nomination, odds are he will be the next President. Going back a century the only two term President followed by his own party was President Reagan/ George Bush Sr. In the '1920s, there were 3 Republicans in a row, Harding, who passed away, Coolidge replaced him and was re-elected once and declined to run for a second re-election and Hoover for one term. Roosevelt died in office, Truman then ran as an incumbent, Johnson replaced Kennedy after his assassination.

Given the actions of the Democratic National Committee to rig the nomination process to Hillary and the fact her unfavorables are every bit as bad as the Donald's, unless it becomes a two or three person race very quickly , Trump will probably become the nominee. Both Trump and Hillary get a love 'em or hate 'em response from most people. They are like the Cowboys and Yankees, both being the most popular team in their respected sport and most hated at the same time.

Looking at the Mika quote, the only thing that I see that I haven't heard Trump talk about was taxing hedge fund managers more. As for the rest, I have no hesitation to believe they came out of Trump's mouth at some point or another.

It would take Rubio or Cruz getting out and endorsing the other before we would get a chance to defeat Trump. I would still take Trump over Hillary in a heartbeat though, just for the comedy of it all.
