Pretty far from what I call "schooled". He's not great at standing up for himself. Mark Levin had him on last night and still had to lead him by the nose through the facts that prove he's far from a liar. As much as I want to see a "citizen statesman" back in the White House, I'm starting to like him better for our next Surgeon General.

The criticism that he "sounds tired" is one that he has a difficult time shaking. I like his ideas, and I think he'd be smart enough to surround himself with the best advisors he could get if he made it to the WH, but I don't see him making it. I will continue to support him until such time as he drops out or loses in the primary.

The issue Carson has is he thinks. He isn't a politician, so tries to choose his words carefully. That results in the appearance of being a little too "milquetoast", which turns some people off. We are used to the quick-mouthed political hacks who tend to change feet every time they open their mouths. It will be interesting to see how he progresses leading up to the primaries.

Wasn't sure whether to put this here, or start a new thread. Figured I'd just put it here.

William Kristol published this piece in the Weekly Standard that without Carson's comments included would have seemed like a hit-piece to me. Carson's comments came from a FB post he made, and make me think that I like him a little more than I already did.
