As with most towns that I pass through, I can't speak to much outside of the warehousing part of town. And the local truckstops.
The truckstop, which was a Flying J, had a locally operated restaurant, which is rare. Usually, Flying J has a Denny's, so that was a nice change of pace. Considering the layout of the place, I guess that it started out as a local operation, years ago, and struck a deal with Pilot/Flying J for the fuel brand. Seems to be a survival tactic that's been used by a few other truckstops in the Northwest.
I like the area; just can't deal with Left Coast politics.
