Yes Sir. Folks on our side of the fence have been saying for decades, "They can't take the guns, so they will make them worthless by killing the ammunition supply."

First, background checks, then the EPA to regulate the makers out of retail business by making ammunition impossibly affordable for any one but the Government (who is using our money). Then, if there is any vigor left in the people, out right bans.

Maybe I should rethink muzzle loaders.

Nobody questions purchases of lead fishing weights or fireworks, even if you buy them together. Bought together, it just looks like a preparation for summer vacation.

Crossbows have been on my want list for a while. So have catapults.

There is something inherently awesome about harnessing the power of the explosion, though.

True, I love my guns.

But, crossbows have decent range, make way less noise, can be used anywhere from point blank range to hundreds of yards, and there are zero laws about being full-auto or mag/drum capacity.

Indeed. Who wouldn't want a fully automatic, drum fed crossbow?

You can bet cross bow technology will be off the charts if the demand for them skyrockets , They are already unbelievable to shoot and are very easy to operate. I can see how they could be the weapon of choice by many!

Never shot a crossbow. I have & use a compound. Love it in fact. Doesn't have the range of a crossbow but is, silent, & deadly at close range. They've come a long ways in the last 25yrs since I bought my 1st one. Thing about em today..... the arrows have serial numbers on em now. Not sure how or if that info is kept in a database or not but, have noticed the last sets I've bought do have serial numbers on em. Not sure if it's a crime to remove then or not, I've not looked into it, or really even thought about it much.

Nailgun. /end

I have a crossbow but I'm thinking blowgun since there are no laws on them and they can be easily tipped with poison.

I know a big-time archer and bowhunter who has all the saws and jigs and makes his own arrows. Always wondered why. Now maybe I know.
