Aloha!

Post by wittmeba »

Aloha!

Just spent 10 days in Hawaii. We drove from New Castle, Va to Charlotte, flew from Charlotte to Phoenix then direct onto Oahu. Spent 3 days in Oahu, then onto the Big Island Hawaii and the last 3 days in Maui.

I met a few people from Va (Richmond, Alexandria, etc) and other areas that were also gun enthusiasts and had some great conversations.

We got to see the USS Arizona at Pearl Harbor - 1177 men went down with the ship and their bodies remain in the ship. Very memorable!

Went on a Waterfall Excursion in this - Austrian Pinzgauer. What a ride!

Had a Luau Friday before coming home.

It was a great trip!

There was a Ukulele Shop in the first hotel we stayed (Sheraton), but only along the streets did we see anyone playing a Ukulele. It was nice and pleasant music.

The most beautiful part of the trip was our visit to Maui - the last 3 days.

Awesome. I was there in 2008. Would love to go back one day. I thought the Arizona memorial & the museum was amazing.

Maui was my favorite. Although, the Kona coffee factory, & Mauna Loa nut plant were must visits for us.
