I talked with Caring for Creatures today. They said that they, and every shelter on their reciprocal resource list, are already full beyond capacity.
We'll take care of Marvin for a few more days, but unless someone in the personal network speaks up, he's going to the SPCA by the weekend.

He's at the Harrisonburg SPCA. Unless they killed him. Dropped him off two weeks ago and he hasn't shown up on their adoption web page.
