New .308
Picked up a Ruger American Predator last night. It's the newest offering in the American line. 18" heavy barrel, threaded. I put a Vortex 4-12 by 44 scope on it. Can't wait to site it in.

I have a shooting buddy that just bought the .308 ....I have the same in 30.06 . They both are a blast to shoot !

Nice looking rifle. I have a few of their pistols, but I don't know anything about the RAR. From the looks of a couple of these posts it sounds like it will be fun.

I was hot for one and was told to check out the Savage 11. Also has the floating barrel and scope package. I'm torn.
