Am I the only one that doesn't trust the Republican Party?

Post by mmckee1952 »

Am I the only one that doesn't trust the Republican Party? I mean the House and the Senate and the RNC except for Ted Cruz and Allen West and Trey Gowdy, just about everyone else is untrustworthy.

Personally I lost all respect for them, when they got in the majority and failed to give Obama a well-deserved boot!

That is because we the people have not been good "employers," for they work for us, but they only do the bidding of the money elite. We have long ago relinquished any leverage we had under the constitution. If we still had it, Obama would have been gone eight months ago. Instead, we were taught we should be nice to all no matter what. It's not nice to fire an employee.

Everyone there want's to cover their ass and get reelected; term limits would effectively cancel this BS.

A co-worker used to say, "Everyone is an ass until proven otherwise." I never found fault with his logic.

I trust that the GOP is spineless and ineffective, in its current state.

Don't trust either party. The politicians speaking are either fools or lying, either way they are wrong. Neither is desirable.

1. Republicans are trying to figure out how to reauthorize Ex-Im bank.

2. Mitch says government will not shut down over Planned Parenting funding.

And that's just within the last 30 days. The party of limited government....

If you think there's a difference between Jeb and Hillary, you're mistaken.
Same string puller on both marionettes.

Why else would progs be wetting their pants 'cuz teh Donald is rocking the boat?

I absolutely refuse to vote for Jeb Bush. Won't vote for Christie, either.

I wouldn't trust "the Donald" either, he admitted to what amounts to being the buyer in influence peddling with candidates from both parties. He reminds me of a combination the Rodney Dangerfield characters from Back to School and Caddyshack.

I think the Dimocrats would prefer Trump, because they know where a lot of his skeletons are buried. What they don't understand is he has decided that going no PC BS, and that is what so many Americans would love to see. It is a long road though and he will have many opportunities for people to tire of him. So far, from the snippets I have seen from the debates, DR. Carson and Rand Paul from the top 10 and Carly Fiorina from the lower 7 will have some clips getting coverage.
You just have to ask yourself, is he telling you the truth based on knowledge and experience or spreading internet myths?

Funny thing about Trump; even though I don't necessarily support the idea of a Trump presidency, I find myself defending him. He has plenty of drawbacks, but he has his merits, too.

I listened to both debates as they happened. I wish I could have watched; I would have gotten more out of them.

Carly Fiorina definitely stood out; I liked what she had to say, for the most part. I also like that she isn't a politician. On the other hand, she did work on the McCain campaign.

Ben Carson was interesting to me, as was Ted Cruz.

But, for the time being, I'm still watching. There is a big pool of candidates, and a lot can happen.

Not only did she work for McCain, but her tenure at HP was abysmal. If you think the Dems picked on Romney over his business life, wait until they can start taking shots at Fiorina. She also didn't sound so conservative during the 2013 government shutdown.
Carly Fiorina wrote: Everybody could see this train wreck coming. I actually feel badly for John Boehner. I think this is Ted Cruz and President Obama’s shutdown. I think Ted Cruz’s tactics were wrong.

There’s no honor in charging a hill that you know you can’t take, only casualties, although Ted Cruz maybe got name recognition and money along the way. But President Obama wanted this shutdown. And Ted Cruz played right into his hands.

Look, John Boehner – the reason I said he has a very difficult task is John Boehner is trying to hold the caucus together. And yet there are elements of his caucus that are much more extreme than other elements of the caucus.
