Obama Sicks DOJ on “Muslim-Free Zone” Gun Shop Owners to Prevent Trend

In response to the Chattanooga, Tennessee murder of five U.S. military personnel, Andrew Hallinan, a Florida gun shop owner, has stated, “I’m declaring Florida Gun Supply as a Muslim-free zone. I will not arm and train those who wish to do harm to my fellow patriots.”

Hallinan knows he can’t actually ask the religious background of each customer who visits his store. But he says he will use the power vested in him by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to hopefully filter out certain customers because he believes, “Islam is evil at its core. The Koran is built to establish a one-world order, a caliphate.”

Hallinan states his objective is to keep guns away from people who intend to do mass murder. “The vast majority of Muslims are peace-loving, normal, everyday Americans,” he said. Yet he will try to ban any Muslims who “read the Koran exactly as it was written.”

But the Council of American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has called for the Department of Justice fo investigate a federal civil rights violation by Hallanan and another New Hampshire gun shop owner who has declared his shop a “Muslim-free zone.”

The DOJ reacted in their favor and released a statement to WFLA, “The Department of Justice must investigate these hate-filled and un-American business practices to determine whether federal civil rights laws are being violated.”

While his administration launches investigations of conservative patriots, Obama remains silent on the subject of Islamic extremism.

My Thoughts:
The thing that people need to remember here is, a gun shop that has a FFL can and is required to evaluate every purchase of a gun, if they feel that the person who is trying to buy a gun might be a danger to either themselves or the community they are required by federal law to deny that purchase of that gun, it’s like a straw purchase, you can’t buy a gun for another person and is illegal and be punished under federal law.

Just the other day I heard Obumma say " We have to keep guns out of people's hands that will commit mass shootings ". Seems to me that is what this guy is trying to do!

Just wait until the last few days of his office when he empties the prisons. A friend of mine's fiance just was hired as a federal probation officer. He said their directive is to more than double the force, they have been told that the number of releases next year are going to be staggering and the government is preparing for it.

mmckee1952 - fully agree with your thoughts. Let the FFL filter the pool of recipients of guns as he sees best. Everyone knows if anything happens with guns he sells his name/business will be mentioned as a contributor.

OK, so the guy needs to publicly retract his statement that he will not sell guns to Muslims and agree to sell to anyone who does not appear to be proscribed under the law and ATF's regulations. And also announce that in an effort to further demonstrate his social rehabilitation and embrace the Obamunists' "green economy", he's going to quit using nasty old petroleum-derived commercial gun oil and instead lubricate all the firearms in his inventory with 100% natural, ecologically friendly LARD. Think that will get the DOJ off his azz?

Often times, true. However, where would this nation be without making a little noise once and a while? While I agree that statements such as this can sometimes be consistent with putting your foot in your mouth (which is apparent), it's good to stir things up every now and then to create progressive discussion.

He is now undoubtedly getting more business than he can handle, I would imagine. However, similar to the 'evil' cake and pastry shops of recent past, you can bet a petition is right around the corner to demand he shuts down his business. Let's see if he survives the inevitable onslaught!

You know... this video has really been a thorn in my brain. At about 3:00 and 4:00 the interviewer seems to be going out of her way to make it look like white people are terrorist and that the shop owner is a racist.

Again, at the 5:00 mark, she starts saying that there have been 190,000 gun deaths in the US (about 12,000 a year on average) and only 37 where committed by Muslim Americans. She is going out of her why to make Muslim terrorist look like they are victims of this guys racism by using criminal crime stats instead of statistics about terrorism.

Evidently, the interviewer hates white people, hates the South, and doesn't seem to care that on 9/11/2001, Muslim terrorist killed 2977 innocent people in America in just a couple of hours. That not only affected that lives of those people and all of those families, but all of America. Life in the US has been changed forever, it has cost us billions of dollars, and even more lives in the form of war. There has never been a white American that killed that many Americans, ever.
