Burning down your city, attacking the men and women who protect you on a daily basis, and looting stores is by far the best way to get attention for the justice you seek. Talk about victim mentality.

Anyone who participated in the violence masquerading as Freddie Gray “protests” deserves to do time, and a lot of it.

We knew that eventually the amount of destruction from the Baltimore riots was going to be large and costly, but now it’s certain.

Over 200 mostly minority-owned businesses were lost on Monday night. How many are going to be able to re-open?

My Thoughts:
The next thing you’ll see is the idiots who destroyed these places are going to bitch and moan that there’s no job’s in their neighborhood or place to buy their stuff. Mindless thugs, as far as I’m concerned.

They say it's about "race". It's not, really. Or they wouldn't be hurting each other. They wouldn't be damaging their future, their health or that of their children. But they do. "Race" its just an excuse for the violence.

I've known, fairly well, a couple of buddies over the years who had "drinking problems." Both admitted to me that drinking gave them an excuse to do, or say, things they wouldn't do/say when sober. Drinking was the excuse they used to feel they weren't really responsible for their actions. "It" was the alcohol, not them or their actions.

For many of the folks destroying their neighborhoods and the neighborhoods of others, the excuse is "race".

Much of the adult population these days is "mindless". Only some are thugs.

It's about the thug culture we have in the USA. It crosses race and socio-economic lines, but it prevalent in the inner city. Many, many articles have been written in the last weeks about the lack of real men in Baltimore's black communities, and this goes straight to that point.

This won't be the last. Baltimore will likely have more riots at the conclusions of the trials of the 6 officers. More black criminals will die, while committing crimes, at the hands of white officers. And that will cause more rioting. It's pretty much inevitable.

I hope that I am wrong.
