Speaking of CZs...

I have been waiting to get the grips.... Got 'em and put 'em on, so now I'll get to go try out my new CZ 75B....

Hope she shoots as good as she looks...decided on some Ironwood grips, they are a little darker than the pictures due to the flash, but they look great in natural light... fits my hand like a glove, too.

Gorgeous.

Is that the same Ironwood I'm thinking of? I've held Ironwood carvings and the wood is heavy as hell. It's one wood that won't float.

Just means the gun is heavier with awesomeness.

Those grips look really nice. They also look like they would be slick if your hands were ever sweaty or bloody when you had to shoot... I wouldn't wax that furniture,, if I were you ;-)

Micro,
Yep, the very same ironwood... I believe the grip maker referred to this as Texas ironwood but some people have said mesquite is the same thingi ...I'm not sure if it is or not.

BW1911,
It's going to be a range and plinking pistol... I have no plans of making this one a carry piece, but I would tend agree with you if it were going to be carried...

I will say, after all the hoopla surrounding the mythical CZ 75's, it's well deserved.

I took it to the range the last time I went, and whoo-ha! It shoots like a dream. I've got several pistols...I have a hard time picking a favorite, but this one is seriously up for contention in the top 5. The trigger was a little gritty when I first started shooting it, even after I'd cleaned it all and put it back together... but the grit seemed to disappear the shooting progressed.

I only put 100 rounds or so through it, but it will be making the trip next time I head to the range again, just to get a little more used to it and break it in properly... Now if I could just quit my day job...

I love CZ-75's! that's one sweet gun there! Looks like a BBQ gun to me!
We continue to be exasperated by the view, apparently gaining momentum in certain circles, that armed robbery is okay as long as nobody gets hurt! The proper solution to armed robbery is a dead robber, on the scene.
