JADE HELM FIRST STRIKE: Walmart Stores from Texas to Florida Close Today for 6 Months Without Notice
Something’s definitely up. These stores appear to be strategically located and I don’t believe this lame plumbing story.
“The stores are located in Brandon, FL, Midland, TX, Tulsa, OK, and at an undisclosed location in California.”
Why “undisclosed”? They can’t tell which store has the plumbing problem? Really? Want to bet it will be in the red area on the bottom of the Jade Helm map? Right. The “hostile territory”.

My Thoughts.
Something is really screwed concerning this. Read and view the video and see what you think.

I hate to point this out to you... OK, I really don't mind at all. Walmart does what Walmart does because in the senior executives eyes, it makes sense for the business. It creates a potentially hostile work environment, what will the lowest paid employees do if they are given two weeks notice that the company will be shutting down a store or warehouse? A few months ago Target shuttered the doors to the Canada operation, costing the company billions, a few weeks ago they let a few thousand employees at corporate headquarters go. Do you think they gave a long lead to what was going on? They told employees to be prepared for change. They showed up for work one day and were sent for outprocessing briefings and termination benefits explanation meetings.
Walmart opening or closing stores is not really that unusual. They may have oversaturated the market, had something turn up about the building or lease arrangement or even possibly had problems with employees and unionization efforts and figured it was easier to shutter a building for months or permanently than stay with the current situation. At one point they had 3 stores in the Harrisonburg area, currently they have 2, having essentially moved/ consolidated 2 stores into the one right next to Interstate 81.
Maybe I am naïve, but I have a hard time believing that Walmart would be briefed up on such an operation, and then the government's operational security be so good. This reminds me of a training event from a few years ago in Charlottesville. The Marines wanted to train in an unknown, unfamiliar location and rented an area near the river. They went door to door to let nearby residents know what was happening. They didn't want to have them panic due to hearing gunfire and simulators exploding and seeing a number of helicopters in the area too. They didthe same kind of thing a few years earlier in Richmond. In both cases, folks with vacant building had the opportunity to make some money renting them out, even if it was for just a few weeks.
You just have to ask yourself, is he telling you the truth based on knowledge and experience or spreading internet myths?

And to pick up another roll of foil.

The Spymobile doesn't have enough antennas; there's still a lot of roof space left.

I guess when you bow to public pressure and say your workers are going to start making $9-10/hr, something eventually gives.

Far be it from me to defend WalMart, but if I suddenly realized I had 500 employees doing their bid'ness into a sewer system that (just for instance) turned out to be hooked up to the storm drainage system instead of the sanitary sewer, I might well want them to stop before I got zapped with a bazillion-dollar-a-day fine by the EPA or somebody. In fact, I'm sure that in such a circumstance I would be held to have a legal duty to abate the situation as soon and as effectively as possible. I might even be subject to criminal sanctions if I did not do so. So, since you can't stop people from using the bathroom at work (in fact, I'm pretty sure I've known of many employees who seemed to "save it up" for when they were on the payroll), you'd just have to stop them from working. And if anybody knows that the government doesn't give a damn what effect environmental regulation has on employment, it would be us folks out here in the Appalachian coalfields. It also does not strain credulity that there would be several stores built about the same time and/or to the same plan and/or by the same contractor that shared a common flaw. Oh, and by the way, if I did find out my company had such a problem, I wouldn't tell anybody any more about it than I had to. Bad publicity is just plain bad for business.
WalMart deserves a lot of criticism for a lot of things. I don't like them at all, and I think they're way too big for the good of the country. But this kind of wild-eyed, tin-foil-hatted bullsh!t just serves to reflect discredit upon those who make justified and well-founded complaints against the Bentonville Mafia.

I like Walmart. They sell a lot of stuff I wouldn't want to buy, but they do a great job of selling things that people use to feed, clothe and equip themselves and their households at prices they can afford even with the declining real incomes we suffer under this communist regime. In dealing with their suppliers, they are tough but fair. Sam Walton was a great man who cared about people and treated everyone as an equal.

I beg to differ, sir. Sam Walton was what you say. But his successors are not. Old Sam's probably been spinning so fast in his grave for so long that by now he's drilled his way through to China where all WalMart's cheap crap comes from. They are killing downtowns all over the country by driving local concerns out of business, but they won't step in and support that community when they're all that's left. When it comes to the way they treat their suppliers, they are about as ruthless and unfair as they come. They expect their suppliers to not only stand quietly while they get their heads crapped upon, but then to curtsey politely and thank them for the hat.

Every one of those suppliers has the freedom to say they will not sell to Walmart under those terms. I've never read of any complaining that they lose money on their sales to Walmart.
As to the downtowns, what moral obligation does Walmart owe to its competitors? Does the money saved by their customers on the lower prices for the same products not count for anything?
I still do plenty of "downtown" business for things that WM doesn't carry or where I want better quality of product or purchasing experience. Can't get match grade rimfire ammo, good hand tools, quality sweat pants, or bicycle parts at Wally, and the produce section in their grocery sucks. Sharp Shopper has lower prices on nearly all food items. Rockingham Coop has better dog food at a lower price than Wally. There are many other examples.
The real problem for downtown retailers is online shopping. Except for certain niches where customer service is an essential part of the sales experience, retailing simply isn't much of a value-added business proposition any more. Other than groceries, I make more purchases online than all brick-and-mortar stores combined.

Cheap food and warm cloths are a good thing for those in need.
And every penny saved is like a pay raise going straight into people's wallet.

Walmarts "warm" clothes are lacking in warmth, compared to clothing offered by some other merchants.
But, then, I frequently shop at Walmart, anyway. Most of them have convenient truck parking.
I pull loads for Walmart, sometimes. The employees at the distribution centers are just as unpleasant as the ones in the stores. It's as if Walmart seeks out the worst and the dimmest of society.
Obviously, I am making broad generalizations, here. Once in a while, I do encounter a perfectly lovely Walmart employee. It's rare, but it happens.
