They realized that CNN is more of a moderate progressive/communists, and keeps the P/C crowd perfectly happy.
So MSNBC realized "hey! FOX HAS NO COMPETITION!" Sooooo they're restructuring, and dumping some of their hosts, and trying to give a new spin.

I don't see anywhere in that article (your second post) that they will go conservative. Maybe I'm blind.
