Couple of questions...
I have gotten really spoiled with my SIG P226. It has some awesome tritium night sights. I bought this new Glock and I would love to carry it, but it doesn't have night sights. I don't want to get caught in a low-light self defense situation and not be able to properly acquire a target.
I have been looking for some aftermarket sights and I see 3 brands that really jump out. There is Trijicon, TruGlo and AmeriGlo.
Trijicon is a known quantity a $125. Even though I have never had a set, I would assume, like everything else that comes from Trijicon, they will be top notch.
TruGlo is in every sporting good store I have ever been in. I would think that they can't be complete crap or that would not be the case.
AmeriGlo is completely new to me. I have never heard of them before. At least not to the point that I recognize the name... but the crazy part is, the classic tritium sights look exactly like the night sights on my SIG P226. I am kind of partial to them
Has anyone who has has a SIG pistol with night sights ever had a set of AmeriGlo sights? Any good? Does anyone know if the Ameroglo's are the brand SIG uses or is SIG making their own?
Anyone use the TruGlo or Trijicon tritium sights? Any opinions?

I've had ameriglos and there is nothing wrong with them. However, Since discovering the Trijicon HD sights I will never go back to another sight system. They are fantastic night sights but they are also amazing in daylight. They have a large orange or yellow front dot around the tritium. They are worth every penny.

I second the Trijicon HD sights. I have the orange front on my EDC G26 and love it. I will be putting them on my G19 and G34 in the near future.

Come to think of it Marc if you wait until the next Chantilly show there is a guy against the back wall (the Glock Doc) with all the sights you mentioned on dummy slides. Pick your set and he'll put them on. Good prices too.

I appreciate all the feedback fellas. Had the Trijicon standard B&T installed Friday... sent a few hundred rounds down range Saturday. The sight picture is the same as my SIG. Nothing new to get use to. All is right with the world. LOL
