A buddy sent me this about the minimum wage.

Post by dorminWS »

Makes sense to me.

$15.00 Minimum Wage

Here is the best explanation I've read for those fast food employees striking for $15 an hour, let's do some math:
At $15 an hour Jose Fry-Boy would make $31,200 annually. An E1 (Private) in the military makes $18,378. An E5 (Sergeant) with 8 years of service only makes $35,067 annually. So you're telling me, Conchita McBurgerflipper, that you deserve as much as those kids getting shot at, deploying for months in hostile environments, and putting their collective asses on the line every day protecting your unskilled butt!? Here's the deal, Baconator, you are working in a job designed for a kid in high school who is learning how to work and earning enough for gas, and hanging out with their high school pals. If you have chosen this as your life long profession, you have failed. If you don't want minimum wage, then don't have minimum skills. And cut your hair, lift your pants up, quit breeding and learn how Americans talk.

Gun-crazy? Me? I'd say the gun-crazy ones are the ones that don’t HAVE one.

Damn skippy.

Were I a McManager, and my employees decided to strike, I would replace the whole crew; if I had to shut down for a couple of days to train, so be it.

The manager has enough applications on his desk to replace everyone twice over.

"Military people only work when there's a war."

Yeah, I've heard that many, many times.

I'm thinking back on my lifetime, and I don't recall a period of time that there WASN'T a war, official or unofficial.
