The new addition to the family - Colt Mustang Pocketlite

Post by MNMGoneShooting »

My new baby, the Colt Mustang Pocketlite .380 ACP
Before and after pics of the grip modification.
Since it's a Colt Mustang, I had to get colors that match my 2008 Mustang.

Skeleton Trigger on order to get rid of the funky plastic one.

If you want total security, go to prison. There you're fed, clothed, given medical care and so on. The only thing lacking... is freedom.

My other baby....
A lot more work to do on this gem though.
- Ford Racing Performance Pack and shorty headers to install this year
- Suspension package and lowering next year / staggered tires
- Interior redesign and some paint detailing in some portion of the distant future...

I see what you mean about the color choice. They both look pretty sweet!

Beautiful little pistol...I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I have somewhere around 1,500 rounds through mine and it's been 100% reliable. Grip is a wee bit small for my big "paws", but I knew that going in...the extended magazine fixes that. Enjoy.

Does yours shoot low and to the left? Mine sure does. I have to adjust by raising the sight higher and a little to the right. I thought it was just me and how I was holding it, but have seen it in the reviews as well (ref: http://youtu.be/HzsnH-80tdM).

Howdy MNMGoneShooting,

It will shoot low and left if I'm not careful...as I stated, my paws are big, and although the little Colt looks like a miniature 1911 - it's not the same style of trigger. If I place the pad of my trigger finger centered on the trigger I will shoot low and left - what I've learned to do with the Mustang is to place the first crease of my trigger finger on the trigger. With a steady press until the break...that little pistol then shoots to the sights.

Give it a try, maybe it will help...in any event, good luck with it.
