Spring Gobbler season 2015

Post by wscrst »

I realize that no one will want to give up his/her top 10 turkey spots. However, I am new to the sport and new to the mountains. Maybe you would share spot #15. Should I head toward the national forest in the NW part of Augusta county or should I head towards the western part of the Augusta county (eg. Deerfield). I fully understand if no one has anything to share. Thanks.

Go to the Northern Neck my friend. We're top 5 in the state for Spring gobblers.

Im in Rockbridge County. Plenty of turkeys around for sure. I know of several that were taken in the fall on dgif lands. Saw a couple the other day while cutting some firewood.
