In A Tight Spot

I get to drive to Washington D.C. today folks! Sure would be wonderful to go to the nations Gun Show. But no. I get to drive 4 hours up and back so I can show my Mother-In-Law around the place. Now, I love teaching folks about DC and it's history. I like the memorials. I just don't like doing these things when there's the gun show in town!

Maybe I can convince my loving wife to sop me off there while she take the newborn, step-daughter and mother-in-law?

That sucks. I am not a big fan of the gun show, but its better than walking around the District for the day.

Let me know if you get furloughed. I'm going to the range with my son for a few in the late morning/early afternoon. Maybe we can hang out, do some shooting and check out the show.

Looks like the weather is going to be just like yesterday....cold and rainy. Makes for a long day. It would be better to be at an indoor Gun Show than outdoors..... "Sightseeing" . I feel your PAIN !

Make sure your car is CLEAN. It would suck if you rolled through a checkpoint and a spent shell casing slid out from under the seat or something. That would cause all manner of unnecessary headache.

The only vehicle that I am certain is DC clean ismy rig, since I can't carry on it, anyway. And, since I have so much personal stuff on that truck, I am not 100% sure about that.

I have banned my vehicles from ever going to DC.

Oh SHMIV, I'm in my wife Prius of all things. I'll drive it here and there but can't convince myself to drive it to a range yet and be seen stepping out of this thing LOL.

I-95 wasn't bad this morning. Course that was at like 5-6AM. We've done the sight seeing and are at Bens Chili Bowl about to head back to beautiful Suffolk. Couldn't convince the wife to let me off the chain today *sigh*
