Remington 760 (30-06)

Post by MattH »

My buddy is selling a Remington 760 in 30-06. I looked online for issues and reviews and found a lot of bashing of the newer model 7600. Everyone seems to favor the older 760. He wants about $400 for the gun. Not sure what year the gun was made in but he seems to think it's a newer 760 model with the etched stock and white line handle. It has holes for a scope mount. Any suggestions about this gun?? I've never owned a pump rifle. I have an 870 pump and I love it. Thanks for any info to help me decide on my purchase. Thanks.

Also, this gun has had only about 15 rounds through it.

I have found that with a 10 round mag, and a good scope, it's a very decent brush gun... GREAT for followup shots. And for $400 bucks? Go for it!
