Good for him. Even if you completely disagree with the judge, you need to be respectful. If that clown is behaving like that with the person who controls his freedom, how poorly is he going to treat the rest of us?

Aww - dude didn't go for the trifecta!
Now is the time for all good men to get off their rusty dustys...

60 days is a ridiculous sentence for contempt of court. Freedom of speech should apply even (some might say "especially") in a court room. This judge might see himself as defending the honor of the court, but given the lousy state of our judicial system there isn't much to defend anymore. And the guy might be an disrespectful d-bag, but sticking someone in jail for four months because he used poor language is terrible.

He can appeal.
If you listen to the legal speak, you would have heard that the defendant was on parole and not being bonded out for aggravated assault (he attacked someone with a knife). That guy was going to jail for a year or more while he waits for several hearings to occur, and is likely going to be in jail for many more years to come due to violating parole and committing the aggravated assault. So, the judge (though sentenced the guy) didn't really even give him another 30 seconds of time. Just padded the dude's rap sheet for being a tool.
Now, if the guy got bonded or was about to walk out on PR and the judge gave him 120 days, then I would have been just a little tiny bit more sympathetic... but not much.
